We are really excited to be looking for someone to join our team next year. A generous donation means that we can fund a new staff position for the next few years to make disciples among children and their families.

Perhaps you’re the person we’re looking for. We’re seeking to engage a suitable person to help develop and grow the children and families ministry at Greenacre Anglican.

The responsibilities of the role include:
∙ Oversee and develop the Sunday morning children’s program
∙ Minister to church families
∙ Develop and direct a ministry for younger children e.g. music playtime
∙ Develop and direct a children’s program for Pupil Free Days (beginning in terms 3 and 4)

If you’re someone who desires to serve in a cross-cultural ministry setting, this is a role that provides both an opportunity to serve and be trained in cross-cultural ministry and mission.

We’re a small church family located in a culturally diverse part of Sydney. As a church, we’re focused on making and growing disciples of Christ from all the nations God has brought to our community by serving them and sharing the good news with them. We want to be a church that reflects the diversity of our community as we reach out with the gospel.

The successful candidate will be someone who has a passion for seeing kids grow as disciples, is able to teach, and relates well with people including those from other cultures. The role would suit someone who is looking for flexible work and who has (or is currently studying) a diploma or degree level qualification from Bible college or Youthworks. Working with Children Check and Safe Ministry Certification are essential.

This is a 2 day per week position that will be remunerated according to the Sydney Diocesan remuneration guidelines.
