Extra-curricular and Co-curricular activities at Morling: ENHANCE

Morling's Enhance program is offered to all students as a way of facilitating, structuring and recognising the extra-curricular and co-curricular activities offered throughout the year. It reflects the various ways students engage in their learning and personal, spiritual and ministry formation beyond their enrolled Units.

It is expected that all full-time Bible and Theology students will be involved in extra-curricular or co-curricular activities during their studies. Part-time students or students that are enrolled in Counselling, Chaplaincy or Education Courses can choose to be involved as they wish.

There are some activities that will be required for certain groups of students (e.g. Accreditation students).

How are Morling Enhance activities recognised?

Morling Enhance Badges are awarded in three main ways:

  • through completion of tasks and activities within a Morling Unit (Course), e.g. completion of Transformational Discipleship Activities in any Semester
  • awarded by the Dean of Students, e.g SRG members, involvement in Chapel Service
  • through applying and uploading evidence of completion in an external program, e.g Creating Safe Places training

Once awarded, an Enhance Badge will visible on a student's Morling Online Dashboard.

Upon request, a Portfolio of Badges can be printed on Morling letterhead as a formal record of a student's involvement in the Morling Enhance program. This can be included in letters to prospective ministry contexts or as evidence of completion for Accreditation or Professional requirements.
