Nominating a Supervisor Form FAQs
Can my wife, uncle or best friend or another student be my supervisor?
AUT exam conditions exclude the use of someone who is a close relative or friend to be your exam supervisor. You may, however, ask your Pastor or Church Elder to be your supervisor. You will be required to send through a photo ID of your supervisor, which will indicate their address, as well as a letter from your pastor, stating that the supervisor is suitable for the task. Please contact the Morling Student Services department if you have exceptional circumstances.
Why do I need a private email address for my supervisor?
Exams can only be sent to a private email address and not a communal email address, such as office@ or enquiries@. The exam conditions must always be seen to be above board and all specifications met.
When will my supervisor receive my exam papers?
The exam is usually sent to the supervisor 2 or 3 days before your scheduled exam by email. You will be notified when it has been sent, so that you can check in with your supervisor that it has been received.
Why do exams have to be scanned and mailed?
Exams completed with a supervisor need to be returned to the college digitally and physically. As mail takes time to travel, the digital version needs to be received within 24 hours of completion so that the exams can be posted to the markers for marking. The physical exam is still needed as, sometimes, human error occurs (such as the exam wasn't scanned, or a page wasn't scanned completely).

Exam Mark FAQs
Will I receive feedback or a mark from my exam?
All results are subject to the AUT Moderation process prior to finalisation. You can access your unit results using Paradigm, the AUT’s student management system. These become available usually around a month after exam week
Click here for more information about accessing Paradigm.
If you would like specific feedback on your exam, to help you improve in the future, then you should email your lecturer and ask for feedback.
