Morling College student email
Morling College student email accounts are available to all currently enrolled students.
To apply for a Morling student email account, please complete this form.
Please also be aware of the Morling Email Guidelines.
Once your student email is approved, you will receive an email to your personal email address with the details for accessing your Morling student email address, and MS Office 365 Online.
Please note that we do not offer support for you to set up this account etc. Some helpful information can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/training and some cheat sheets here.

A Morling student email gives students free access to the Microsoft 365 cloud version, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive, supporting study, collaboration and file storage.
Microsoft 365 desktop
Students may also choose to purchase the Microsoft 365 desktop version for $33 per year (inc GST), which is cheaper than a personal/individual subscription. The desktop version allows full use of referencing and research tools such as EndNote and Zotero. You can purchase this using the credit card payment on the request form.

Morling can use your student email to communicate important academic and administrative information securely. -
Free access to Microsoft 365 Access (cloud version)
A Morling student email gives students free access to the Microsoft 365 cloud version, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive, supporting study, collaboration and file storage -
Access to Microsoft 365 desktop apps (at a discounted price)

Student discounts
A student email account may also provide access to student discounts from external providers, including reduced pricing on software and digital tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud), technology and hardware (e.g. education pricing), and services and subscriptions commonly used by students.
What is my Morling email address?
Your email address will be: firstname.lastname@morlingstudent.edu.au
If another student has the same name, a number will be added after your last name. You will be notified if this applies to you.
What if I forget my password or get locked out?
In the initial activation of your student account, you should be prompted to register for self-service password reset. It requires you to enter either personal email account information or enter your mobile phone number. These methods will then assist you in resetting your email password yourself. Alternatively, please contact the Student Helpdesk if you are unable to reset the password yourself.
How long do I keep access to my account?

Access continues while actively enrolled

Access ends after you have graduated. The week after your graduation ceremony (if you attend in person), you’ll no longer be able to access your email account including OneDrive.

Responsibility to download/save files before access ends. This is especially important for OneDrive storage and desktop apps.
Can I use my Morling email on my devices (laptop, phone, tablet)?
Yes. You can add your Morling email account to your phone, tablet or computer using your username and password. Please refer to your device’s email setup instructions.
Can I forward emails to my existing email account?
Yes. To set up forwarding:
• Select the Settings icon (top right corner)
• Select Mail
• Select Forwarding
• Enter your preferred email address
• Save your changes
How can I change my Morling email password?
When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password.
To change it later:
• Select the Settings icon
• Select My Account
• Select Security info or Change Password
• Follow the prompts

It is helpful to understand the difference between the two options available to you:

Storage limits (OneDrive quota)
The Microsoft 365 Cloud (free version) will supply you with 100GB of storage. Whereas the Microsoft 365 Desktop version will supply you with 1TB of storage to support your studies while enrolled.
Please remember:
• It is not permanent archival storage
• You are responsible for backing up and downloading important files before your access ends
We recommend regularly saving key assessments and personal documents to your own secure backup location.
