Discipleship Groups for Bible and Theology Students
At Morling, we don’t want you to go it alone! For Bible and Theology (BAT) students in Sydney and online, an important and ongoing aspect of this is being part of a Discipleship Group. Although not for ACT credit, participation in a group is a vital part of your overall development as a Christian who is training for future ministry.
Participation in a Discipleship Group is required for all fulltime BAT students studying through the Sydney-campus or online, NSW&ACT Baptist accreditation candidates and those completing a GSF unit for ACT credit, and is strongly encouraged for all scholarship recipients and part-time students.
CCSC and EDU students are very welcome to join as well if they are able to.
For those in our Perth-Vose campus, you will continue to meet in the GSF group on Wednesday mornings.
Sydney Campus & Online
For those on the Sydney campus, you will meet once a week with other students in a small group led by one of our wonderful faculty. You will share together in your journey as a student and grow in your personal and ministry walk.
Online students are able to join a blended 'on-campus' group - or a fully online Discipleship Group via Zoom.
Sydney Campus and Livestream 40 days of prayer booklet
Join us for 40 days of Prayer We hope that you will commit to praying together for 40 days - once a week during your Discipleship Group time, and then individually, with each other or even with friends or family on the other days. We have adapted this booklet (created by Carolyn Altman a Morling student) which churches throughout NSW and the ACT are also using to pray. You might be using a version in your own church so you can use this booklet alongside it.
