Reciprocal Borrowing Agreements with other Higher Education Providers
Morling College Students (postgraduate only) and staff can borrow resources from the following institutions:
Macquarie University Library (NSW)
By agreement reciprocal borrowing privileges have been arranged with Macquarie University.
To register with Macquarie University Library, a letter from the Director of Library Services (Morling College) is required. Contact library@morling.edu.au for a copy of the letter, which can be sent to you via email or given as a hardcopy (obtainable at the Library).
Both registration and borrowing can be done in person at Macquarie University library.The following borrowing conditions apply to Morling student and staff borrowers:
- To be able to register, you need to be in good and regular standing with Morling College Library and have no fines or outstanding charges.
- Reciprocal borrowers must have a current borrower’s card to borrow.
- The reciprocal borrower must agree to honour the regulations of the host institution/s, return publications by the due date or upon request of the host library, pay any charges for late returns, lost or damaged items, and notify the home and host institutions at which she/he is enrolled as a borrower of any change of address.
- Failure to honour these responsibilities may result in the borrower being suspended from borrowing from both the home and host libraries.
- Borrowers must agree to reimburse the home institution for any debts discharged by the home institution on the borrower’s behalf.

Murdoch University Library (WA)
The following borrowing conditions apply to Morling student and staff borrowers:
- To be able to register, you need to be in good and regular standing with Morling College Library and have no fines or outstanding charges.
- Reciprocal borrowers must have a current borrower’s card to borrow.
- Borrowing is free for reciprocal borrowers, with a limit of eight items at any one time.
- The reciprocal borrower must agree to honour the regulations of the host institution/s, return publications by the due date or upon request of the host library, pay any charges for late returns, lost or damaged items, and notify the home and host institutions at which she/he is enrolled as a borrower of any change of address.
- Failure to honour these responsibilities may result in the borrower being suspended from borrowing from both the home and host libraries.
- Borrowers must agree to reimburse the home institution for any debts discharged by the home institution on the borrower’s behalf.

Sheridan Institute of Higher Education Library (WA)
Students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) have access to the Sheridan Library's collection comprising of printed books, DVDs and reference collection.
Students can access six academic databases on campus (only):
- EBSCO
- Gale Academic OneFile
- HeinOnline
- Informit
- Oxford University Press
- ProQuest
The following borrowing conditions apply to Morling student and staff borrowers:
- To be able to register, you need to be in good and regular standing with Morling College Library and have no fines or outstanding charges.
- Reciprocal borrowers must have a current borrower’s card to borrow.
- Students and staff from Morling College can borrow up to 10 books for 2 weeks, with 3 renewals, unless the item(s) have been recalled by Sheridan Library.
- The reciprocal borrower must agree to honour the regulations of the host institution/s, return publications by the due date or upon request of the host library, pay any charges for late returns, lost or damaged items, and notify the home and host institutions at which she/he is enrolled as a borrower of any change of address.
- Failure to honour these responsibilities may result in the borrower being suspended from borrowing from both the home and host libraries.
- Borrowers must agree to reimburse the home institution for any debts discharged by the home institution on the borrower’s behalf.
