- A Mentor can regularly meet with the student, as required.
- Mentors can contact student services if they have concerns in regards student issues.
We encourage students to seek support as they study. It is important, however, that all students maintain academic integrity in how they prepare and complete assignments. These Guidelines highlight appropriate levels of support that a student can ask from different people.
Academic Tutoring
If you feel you require extra help with your studies, an Academic Tutor is available for new students. Please see Morling Online (Moodle) ‘Academic Support’ for more details in week 1 of Semester or Summer School.
The academic tutor will be available to provide students with high quality academic research and writing support, and may be of support for new students experiencing anxiety regarding studying online, or studying in a tertiary setting. To contact the Academic Tutor, please email academictutor@morling.edu.au
Students who require significantly high levels of tutoring support may be advised to personally engage the services of a private tutor, in the event that the basic tutoring available online through Morling College is not sufficient to meet the student’s needs.
